The Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) has described President Bola Tinubu’s 90-day cost-of-living aid plan as an try to subsidise hardship, saying it is not going to cease Nigerians from voting him out within the January common elections.
Reacting to the National Economic Council’s (NEC) 90-day aid plan for the excessive price of residing, the National Publicity Secretary of the APM, Abubakar Yusuf, stated the proposal was a diversionary tactic.
“This is what we called diversional therapy against Nigerians. To resume fully and hardly after winning the January general elections. Nigerians have gone beyond this, no amount of immediate succor will stop them from removing President Tinubu,” Yusuf stated.
He accused the Tinubu administration of inflicting hardship on Nigerians over the previous three years via its insurance policies and programmes.
“After three years of inhuman administration through decapitation and dilapidation of a well contrived government policies and programs you are now subsidizing hardships. ‘Kole work’,” he stated.
The NEC plan, endorsed at its 161st assembly, is aimed toward lowering the price of residing, bettering meals affordability and attracting funding throughout the nation inside 90 days.
But Yusuf stated Nigerians had already seen via the plan and wouldn’t be swayed by short-term aid measures.
