The Africa Women Conference (AWC) has mourned the demise of celebrated Nollywood actor, Francis Duru, describing him as a valued member of the convention household whose contributions enriched the organisation through the years.
The AWC Convener, Dr. Jumai Ahmadu, in an announcement issued on Friday, stated Duru’s demise was a painful loss to the artistic business and the broader convention neighborhood.
Ahmadu stated the actor’s demise was notably poignant because the organisation prepares for its tenth Anniversary Edition in Accra, Ghana.
