The Rivers State University Teaching Hospital (RSUTH) has provided computerized employment to 28 graduands from the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences of the Pamo University of Medical Sciences (PUMS)
This is because the college introduced computerized employment for the perfect graduating college students from the Department of Medical Laboratory Science, the Department of Nursing Sciences and the Department of Radiography and Radiation.
RSUTH chief medical director, Professor Chizindu Alikor, who introduced the employment of the recent graduands on the joint induction and oath-taking which was held on Friday at PUMS most important campus in Port Harcourt.
Alikor stated, “I notably congratulate the perfect graduating from the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences. You are usually not small; you really reached the compendium of intellectuality.
“You are urgently needed. The urgency will spare you the weekend. From Monday, the 19th of October, 2026, you should come along with all necessarily documents.”
In his speech, PUMS chancellor and founder, Dr. Peter Odili, stated the three greatest graduating college students from the three departments can be given computerized employment within the establishment after finishing their internship interval.
Odili, who was represented by former Rivers State Commissioner for Health, Professor Adaeze Oreh, said that in fashionable healthcare, it requires collaborative efforts of all professionals within the discipline to ship high quality service.
“To our inductees, at this time’s joint induction and oath-taking ceremony is deeply symbolic. I fashionable healthcare, no single occupation stands alone. The supply of protected, prime quality and excessive patient-centered care rely totally on seamless inter-professional collaboration.
“To our medical laboratory scientists, you’re the detectives of drugs. Your experience present the very important proof and accuracy that information medical choices, remedy plans and different choices.
“On that note, I wish to share the board of trustees’ decision and announcement; after internship, of automatic employment for best graduating students, inductees from the three departments of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences,” he stated.
