The Oyo State authorities, by means of the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, has organised a gathering to evaluate and validate the state’s Social Protection Draft Bill, with assist from the European Union (EU) and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) underneath the SUSI Project.
The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, Mr Julius Ayanleke, said this through the assembly held on the Ibadan Business School, Bodija, Ibadan, with 48 individuals drawn from related Ministries/Departments/Agencies (MDAs), the legislature, organised labour and different stakeholders in attendance.
Ayanleke defined that the assembly adopted an earlier stakeholders’ engagement in Oyo, the place the draft invoice was finalised, noting that the validation train was to evaluate the doc forward of its presentation to the State Executive Council and eventual consideration by the state’s House of Assembly.
