The Joint Task Force North West, “Operation Fansan Yamma” has appointed Captain S.O. Tamuno as its appearing media data officer.
He takes over from Lt-Col. Aliyu Danja, who has been posted to a different formation of the Nigerian Army.
Danja introduced his exit in a farewell message to journalists on Sunday.
He thanked the media for his or her assist, cooperation and professionalism all through his tenure.
According to him, journalists performed important position in speaking operational achievements, sacrifices and successes of troops within the joint operation space.
“The cordial working relationship, commitment to accurate reporting, timely inquiries and responsible dissemination of information contributed to projecting activities of the operation,” Danja stated.
He urged journalists to increase identical cooperation to his successor, expressing confidence that Captain Tamuno will maintain and strengthen the connection between the operation and the media.
“Operation Fansan Yamma” is the joint operation masking Zamfara, Sokoto, Kebbi, Katsina and components of Kaduna and Niger States towards banditry and terrorism.
