Tanzania has found an estimated 223 billion cubic ft of pure gas in the Mnazi Bay space in the south of the nation, its vitality minister announced on Tuesday.
Energy minister Juma Homera mentioned the reserves have been discovered on the Kasa-1X ST2 nicely, explored collectively by state-owned Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC) and French oil firm Maurel & Prom.
The discover is Tanzania’s first gas discovery in more than 10 years.
