An accident victim, Esther Agboro, has died following bodily accidents she sustained a day after a fatal accident between a business tricycle and a trailer at Iwhrekan Community, Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State on Saturday, October 31, 2026.
DAILY POST can report that the deceased died on Sunday, November 1.
The deceased, who hails from Okirika, an Ijaw neighborhood in Delta State, was in the business tricycle, allegedly being chased by a process drive round Okwagbe Market when it abruptly collided with the heavy-duty trailer.
All occupants of the tricycle, together with the deceased, sustained severe accidents and have been left unconscious.
The deceased, who is alleged to be based mostly in Asaba, Delta State, does her enterprise by travelling periodically.
The eldest son of the deceased, Agbaro Thankgod Ayibanugha, who not too long ago secured admission after 5 years of ready, mentioned the household is pained by the demise of his mom.
According to him, the incident has left the household heartbroken at a time they have been trying ahead to celebrating his academic breakthrough.
Members of the Agboro household have been at a police station close to the General Hospital, awaiting police documentation earlier than taking the stays of the deceased to the mortuary.
The Agboro household has referred to as for an intensive investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
